Our Guiding Charter

Our Guiding Charter

Reach girls from disadvantaged communities
We deliver workshops that help students discover their talents, build their confidence and identify their leadership qualities.
Always use local role models
Role models should be culturally relevant to the girls. That's why at our events we use only local role models who themselves have thrived despite a difficult background.
Collaborate with schools
Our events and workshops always take place at schools in disadvantaged communities. This way the girls are supported by teachers and guidance counsellors with any questions they may have after our events or workshops.
Empower girls through skills training programs
We deliver workshops that help students discover their talents, build their confidence and identify their leadership qualities.
Provide access to mentors
We aim to connect girls to female mentors to help them with important questions they may have. We are building an online mentor community that girls can tap into. If you'd like to be a part of this initiative, please contact sabine@daretodreamproject.org. In South Africa, we have a thriving network of mentors that has been assisting girls since 2015.

"Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them."
