OUR GUIDING CHARTER
We focus on reaching, inspiring and empowering girls in disadvantaged and rural communities throughout Africa.
Role models should be culturally relevant to the girls. That's why at our events we use only local role models who themselves have thrived despite a difficult background.
Our events and workshops always take place at schools in disadvantaged communities. This way the girls are supported by teachers and guidance counsellors with any questions they may have after our events or workshops.
We deliver workshops that help students discover their talents, build their confidence and identify their leadership qualities.
We aim to connect girls to female mentors to help them with important questions they may have. We are building an online mentor community that girls can tap into. If you'd like to be a part of this initiative, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. In South Africa, we have a thriving network of mentors that has been assisting girls since 2015.
